Packaging materials - what should you remember?

While preparing our belongings for a move it's worthwhile to get the necessary packaging materials, which will safeguard the belongings from being damaged, and save the owner from additional costs and stress.

The most commonly used and best protective materials are:

  • Five-layer cardboard
  • Bubble wrap, available also with interlining or paper
  • Stretch foil (we recommend not using it to wrap packages, as it makes it difficult for a worker to ascertain what the contents are and how should they proceed with the package
  • Packaging paper
  • Polyethylene foam
  • Absorbing fillers: styrofoam chips, air bags, flo-pak (styrofoam cubes), biodegradable flo-pak
  • Styrofoam forms
  • Self-adhesive tape
  • Clamps

Euromove, with its years of experience, offers a range of high quality, proven packaging materials, which will provide maximum safety for the goods and comfort during transport. After the move, they are retrieved by our employees and undergo professional recycling.
